I have a "technical" question for you....
The backlight goes out on my laptop if I close the lid and I have to restart or put on standby to get the light to come back on...it can be very frustrating...
any suggestions?
Oh, it goes off if I move the top at all so it doesn't have to close all the way....Although I have left myself open for that quick wit of yours *grin* I truly need a serious answer. A great one, preferably.......*grin*

Debbie - notebooks usually have power-save settings designed to conserve battery use, so it could be that you have yours set to hibernate when it detects that the lid is down (because it assumes you aren't using it). If you check in the Control Panel you should find a Windows Power Options utility that will allow you to tweak the power management settings. As well your laptop may use it's own power management utility; if so, check those settings as well. Hope that helps!
Oh I love the new look! All of the blogs that I read are getting such pretty new makeovers. I'm feeling really inadequate these days. ;)
