Finally!

Beth has been patiently waiting for pictures of our wallpapering adventure.

It took me many months to pick out the paper - I changed my mind so many times I've lost count - but in the end I think we made a great choice and I'm happy with the results.

Ken has been working on this all week and he finally got it finished this afternoon. It took a long time to complete - it's a LONG hall - but I think he did a fabulous job. :)

Here is a a "before" of the long, white hall. It was clean, but institutional looking.

Here's how it looks now (with my hubby still working at the top of steps!)
Here's the front entrance

You can see the patterns and colours a bit better in this one

Also the front entrance, facing the front door

Oh, wow! How beautiful!

Uh...is that an elevator in your house?

Why don't you come down to Virginia with your wallpaper hanging hubby for a "vacation"? I was just looking at a couple of rooms wondering how on earth I was going to get them wallpapered...

*grin*

*chuckles* No, not an elevator (at first I was puzzled as to what you were referring to) That's the closet in the front hall. It has mirrored doors. Tacky, I know, but they came with the house :)

I told my husband about you "vacation" suggestion and he said "Any time baby, any time!" And he would, too. He's a sweetheart that way.

I'm a little in awe of people who hang paper. It looks very pretty.
