Read this!
Oh! Came across this post over at Pastor Cwirla's blog where he references a commentary on Romans written by Jon Grothe. Dr. Grothe was my New Testament prof - small world, huh? I thought it was neat seeing a reference to him, although I guess it's not surprising as he's a pretty well respected Lutheran professor. The guy is like a whole other kind of smart. Incredibly insightful. Anyways, if you've got a sec, take a peek. It's a short piece.

How cool is that? I have a few professors like that where I wish everyone could have had them! LOL I actually emailed two of them TEN years after I had them when I finally was facing my first year of teaching! LOL Told them what an influence they were and how much their classes meant to me. One wrote back that he remembered me!
