Some new banners
A couple of weekends ago I was working on some new banners for the blog. Do you like either of these?
This one above is a variation of my current banner.
This one is an entirely new look.
I was trying to convey (with graphics) the elements of Word and Sacrament which are foundational to Lutheran theology. Does that come across?
Even if I don't end up using either of these, it's been fun to play around. I'm not a "crafty" kind of person (ie. making real crafts) but I like doing electronic stuff like desktop publishing, etc. Marilee has inspired me to try my hand at a new banner.

I like the second one - nice, bold, and simple AND gets the point across. And, "pee-shaw" you aren't crafty! *wink*

Hey Anita... I no longer blog, but I opened up a root, as so many blogs bless me and have 'registered users only' set up. I stop in here almost daily ;o). Hmmm....I like the first one, only because it's softer on the eyes. What's your gut instinct? That is what you should go with! Blessings.
Eileen!!! Hey woman, how the heck are ya? I'm so glad you delurked to say hello - it's been a long time. I kind of like the second one, but I think I might tone down the bright blue a bit. It's kinda harsh. Like you said, the other one is softer on the eyes. Oh boy, I'm so glad you stopped to say hello, what a nice surprise! How to see you again soon!
I like the first one...and the second one is nice...but the blue...is too neon. And I love the different symbols as aspects of your faith.
